WE PLEASE INVITE YOU (folklore ensembles, choirs, dance groups, art schools, music theater, modern dance groups, orchestras and majors’ teams), (children and youth groups) to participate in INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL “SKIATHOS DAYS “from 18 – 24 September 2022
Skiathos – is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece, abundant in pine forest, spacious beaches with fine sand and crystal clear sea, which will take your breath away. The island of Skiathos has an area of 50 km2 and 13 km in length and over 60 beaches with different themes, but all sandy and clear seas, such as the most famous beaches; Lalaria, Kukunaria, Banana, Megali Amos, Eleni, Vormolimos and many others.
General rules:
– Children, youth and adult folk groups, contemporary dance groups, vocal groups, large teams, instrumental groups can participate in the festival. The age of the participants is not limited.
– The number of participants is limited (only 3 groups from each country),
– Each group should consist of over 50 members, including dancers, managers and musicians,
– Ensembles should be prepared for at least 2 years, every 10-15 minutes with an orchestra or CD. Free program for vocal groups 15 – 20 minutes. The performances will be in the evening so you can plan the day for a visit to the historic part of the city and excursions.
– You should send a short biography and 2-3 photos of the group by mail,
– Bring the flag of the country,
– Folklore groups to have their own transport for arrival and departure.

1 pm – group arrival and hotel accommodation

The organizers of the festival provide:
Accommodation – Hotel with 3 * – 500 m from the center with outdoor pool, restaurant by the pool with breakfast and dinner
PARTICIPATION BENEFIT:
– 129 euros for 4 HB per person – 4 nights with 2 meals a day in a hotel
– 161 euros for 5 HB per person – 5 nights with 2 meals a day in a hotel
– 193 euros for 6 HB per person – 6 nights with 2 meals a day in a hotel
– Includes accommodation in a hotel with 2 meals a day in hotels with 3 * located in the immediate vicinity of the city center in – for drivers and leaders 2/2 rooms.
About the hotel:
The hotel has 3 * and is located in a pleasant and quiet place near the center of 500m. There is a large park with grass and flowers around the hotel. The hotel has comfortable rooms with two, three or four beds, LCD TV with multiple foreign channels, mini bar, bathroom, towels, shampoo, free WiFi internet, hotel capacity of over 250 guests, large restaurant, indoor and outdoor area around the pool . , with a capacity of over 300 guests, free use of the pool. The organizers can organize ferry transportation at reasonable prices.

– Two festival nights in the city center

– For every 23 dancers – one free

– Attraction for photography and shooting under an international landing plane
– Organized daily party on the beach and pool
– Organized diving (opportunity to see dolphins, turtles, fish, corals, etc.)
– Organized group transport by ferry
How to get there?
You have two ways:

To come by bus and bus to go by ferry, than in front of a hotel you have free bus parking

You can fly to the airport in Thessaloniki and then go by boat and you are in Skiathos for 3-4 hours
The tourist tax is 1.5 euros per person per day and is additional.
